Looking at the depth of institutional I have found that artist like Jay-Z, Drake and Tinie Tempah are similar in the ways in which the genre of music that 'system' comes under. All of these artist are commonly known to be on mainstream music channels from MTV to BET. Popular, well known other music institutions that promote and expose the hip hop genre music include Kiss, BBC, 1Extra and possibly even some pirate stations like Vibes fm & On Top fm.
Doing research into what type of record label our artist would be signed to can vary. It could be record labels like RCA Music Records - with having signed artist like Young Joc & ASAP Rocky being signed to the company, or even the record label Roc-A-Fella founded by Shawn Carter A.K.A : Jay-Z, working with artist like Kayne West & Jadakiss. Both of these record labels would suit our artist however the only disadvantage is their locations, both being located in the united states and would be a great way for our artist to be recongised but not at this moment of time as he is new. However with record labels like Fresh Beat Records who are a well known British label who are known for their growing height in the hip hop world. They have a range of artist from well known award winner artist to up coming artist, one thing that is great for our artist as it can allocate him in the right direction for him to grow in the hip hop british invasion world.
